Correct a record and add a driver's earlier history

Where to edit drivers, trucks and customers, what an import will not change, and how to enter past driver results.

To correct a driver, truck, trailer, customer or carrier, open it from its list in the left menu and choose Edit. Driver pages also have Edit details for employment, the medical certificate expiry, emergency contact and home truck. A load's details can be edited until it is assigned.

An import never changes a record that already exists. It skips it. To change an existing record, edit it on its own page. To add many new ones, import them. The columns an import accepts are listed on the Imports page and in its template, together with the allowed values for choice columns such as driver type. Capitals and dashes do not matter.

To record what a driver did before joining FleetOne, open the driver and find Earlier history (before FleetOne). Choose Add earlier history and enter the loads delivered, the miles driven and the on-time rate, with a note about the period. These totals stay separate from loads recorded in FleetOne, so the on-time figures for recorded loads are never mixed with typed-in numbers.

Actual pickup and delivery times are recorded when you move a load along: choosing At pickup asks when the driver arrived, and recording delivery asks when it was delivered. Those times feed the on-time figures.
